Hosting and server logs
This website is a static site hosted by a hosting provider. When you access it, technically necessary data (in particular IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, and user agent) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and stable operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Analytics and cookies (consent-based)
Beyond the technically necessary server logs above, this website sets cookies and loads analytics tools only after you give consent via the cookie banner. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics scripts are loaded. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (and § 25(1) TDDDG for storing and reading information on your device). You can withdraw consent at any time with future effect via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Google Analytics 4, including the "Google Signals" feature, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It measures how the site is used and, in aggregate and only above Google's privacy thresholds, approximate age, gender and interest categories of visitors who are signed in to Google with ad personalisation enabled. IP addresses are truncated (anonymised). Typical cookies: _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years). I never see individual visitors — only aggregated reports.
Data may be processed in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, providing an adequacy basis for the transfer; EU Standard Contractual Clauses serve as an additional safeguard. The use of Google Signals also means data may be combined with your Google account; you can disable ad personalisation in your Google account settings.

If you contact me by email, your details are processed to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and are not shared without your consent.
